Involvement and responsibility are two of our corporate culture's key values.

We adhere to these principles in both our projects and in our daily work. We want to make our own contribution to society and to support those who are disadvantaged or who need particular assistance. We consider it important to provide practical support directly where it is needed.

AI enters the classroom

“KI macht Schule” (“AI in the Classroom”) is a series of AI and machine-learning workshops for German secondary school pupils aged 15 to 18.

Coding for Charity

inovex supports various social projects, including by doing what we do best: developing software. We have launched a project to support the coordination of emergency services at major events under the name “Coding for Charity”, in collaboration with the German Red Cross’ disaster relief teams.

Devoxx4Kids

Devoxx4Kids workshops are aimed at children from 10 to 14 years of age who want to learn the basics of programming, electronics, and robotics in a fun and relaxed setting. inovex has been supporting Devoxx4Kids since 2016.

DKMS Donation

Somebody in Germany is diagnosed with blood cancer every 15 minutes. inovex employee Patrick had the chance to save a human life with his donation.

Donation to the JAK

Under the motto ‘We make the world how we like it!’, the JAK (youth action congress) ran a week of workshops and campaigns relating to the subject of sustainability at the Spitalhofschule school in Ulm, for all those aged 14 to 27.

Flüchtlingshilfe Hamburg-Wandsbek

In Großstädten wie Hamburg gibt es eine große Zahl an Vereinen, die mit viel ehrenamtlichem Engagement ihren Beitrag zur Versorgung und Integration von Flüchtlingen leisten. Um diese Hilfsangebote zu koordinieren, wurde das Portal „Welcome to Wandsbek“ ins Leben gerufen, das einen Überblick über die Möglichkeiten verschafft. inovex unterstützt die Initiative finanziell.

Flying Hope e. V. – Das Pilotennetzwerk für kranke Kinder

„Flying Hope – Das Pilotennetzwerk für kranke Kinder“ ist ein gemeinnütziger Verein, der kostenlose Flüge für Kinder vermittelt, die aufgrund ihres körperlichen, geistigen oder seelischen Zustandes auf die Hilfe anderer angewiesen sind und deren Familien selbst nicht die notwendigen finanziellen Mittel haben.

Girls’Day

Girls’Day and the Girls’Day Akademie give girls from the 5th class and above the opportunity to explore careers in the MINT subjects (Mathematics, IT, the Natural sciences and Technology).
At inovex, we feel very strongly about the importance of getting girls interested in and enthusiastic about working in IT. We therefore hold an open day every year to give female pupils hands-on experience of some of the things software can do.

KiWi – Kinder der Welt integrieren

The “Kinder der Welt integrieren” (KiWi) initiative in the Enzkreis area assists children and young people fleeing war and persecution. inovex GmbH is providing an initial six-month donation to enable KiWi to employ a temporary administrative and networking assistant.

Lebenshilfe Pforzheim Enzkreis e. V.

“Lebenshilfe für Menschen mit Behinderungen Pforzheim Enzkreis e. V.” (“Assistance for People with Disabilities in the Pforzheim Enzkreis Area”) is a charitable organisation which brings together people with disabilities, their parents and other relatives, legal guardians, professionals, sponsors and friends. The association’s mission and purpose is to enable people with disabilities to achieve as normal a life as possible, allowing them to participate in society and lead independent lives.

LOAN Stiftung foundation

One of the aims of the LOAN Stiftung foundation is to give children from remote regions – and particularly those belonging to ethnic minorities – an independent future. A proper education is a key requirement in this. The LOAN Stiftung currently supports schools in northern Vietnam by providing funds for teaching materials, as well as for food and lodging.

Natural Sciences & Technology Initiative

The Natural Science & Technology (NAT) initiative was founded in 2007 to attract young people to STEM subjects [known as MINT in German, which refers to mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology] through projects and ideas. inovex, along with other companies and five higher education institutions in Hamburg, is involved in this educational initiative.

The Karlsruhe technology initiative technika is a project initiated by the Karlsruhe IT cluster CyberForum e.V. to promote technology and IT skills among children and young people.
