Zephyr Project

The Zephyr architecture offers the possibility of using many technologies known from Linux development, which leads to a level of productivity previously unrivalled in the embedded sector.

The Zephyr Project is currently one of the Linux Foundation’s most active projects. Essentially a real-time operating system for microcontrollers, it is used in the IoT, for example, wherever a full Linux system would be too large or too energy-intensive. The Zephyr architecture offers the possibility of using many technologies known from Linux development, which leads to a level of productivity previously unrivalled in the embedded sector.

In November 2024, inovex joined the project as a Silver Member and will actively support the project in the areas of training and safety.

We are happy to make our Zephyr expertise available to our customers as part of development projects for embedded software, technical consulting and coaching (e.g. in the form of architecture workshops) and also training for developers.
