Philipp Schmitt

Philipp Schmitt is a Cloud Platform Engineer and is involved in building and operating Kubernetes platforms. The implementation and use of service mesh solutions is one of his specialties.

He is one of the few so-called Kubestronauts. This special certification from the Linux Foundation is only awarded to people who have demonstrated exemplary Kubernetes knowledge by passing all five Kubernetes-related certifications from the CNCF: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS), Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate (KCNA), and Kubernetes and Cloud Security Associate (KCSA).
